Laughing Sheep Farm ~ Lincoln, New Mexico

I had the pleasure on Monday to make a return trip to Laughing Sheep Farm just outside of Lincoln, New Mexico, to take photographs for their new brochure. It was so beautiful and serene. Upon our arrival, it was raining, but as we toured the entire farm, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Absolutely gorgeous!

The pigs came out and joined us as we toured the farm in Sally's golf cart. They seemed to be insisting that they be included in the brochure as well!

The orchard was dripping with purple! I felt like coloring!

The sheep are looking great and were happy to have new visitors, I think. Two lambs came out and entertained us for a while in the barn ~

Here's the new miniature burro, born about a month ago. So cute and personable! He followed us around in the golf cart to make sure we had really stunning photos of HIM!

I loved this photo of the flowers and the chicken. Do the colors clash?

Oops...accidently added in this photo again. It's ok...it's my favorite from the whole afternoon!

Laughing Sheep Farm also has a restaurant which serves grass fed beef, bison, chicken, lamb and assorted other delicacies, depending on that day's menu. If you haven't indulged and eaten there yet, you are really missing a treat! Don't forget to ask for some Tequila Cantaloupe Lime Sauce to take home with you. Once you've tried it, it'll be a staple in your kitchen too!

Call ahead for directions and hours at the restaurant if you'd like (575) 653-4041, or check them out on the web www.laughingsheepfarm.com

Sally and the gang will certainly make you feel right at home!

Blessings, Linda
